This page is dedicated to those animals within
our caviary which have demonstrated
excellence on the show tables. This page is
currently a work in progress so we will be
adding more to it as time allows.

She is our first home-bred Grand Champion. When she
competed in her very first show she took Best in Show,
which paved the way for her to win a few more Best in
Shows and a Reserve in Show. She had earned a total
of 5 Grand Champion legs before an early retirement.
During her retirement, Tempest went on to birth several
litters of quality Golden Solids. After being fully retired
from showing and breeding she spent the remainder of
her golden years and a very spoiled and pampered pet.
Of all the pigs we've lost over the years, her loss has
been difficult to overcome.
Lola, along with her brother Apollo, were our first
home-bred Teddy Satins. Competition among Teddy
Satins wasn't very high and Best of and Best Opp of
Breed usually came down between them. As a junior
and intermediate, Lola got overlooked but did manage
to get an honorable mention at 2 months old. After she
matured she kicked off her short show career with 3
Reserve in Shows and, in 3 back to back shows in Jan
'08- Feb '08, she received 3 Best in Shows. We decided
to put her into breeding shortly after and she had 4
beautiful pups, one of which we kept (Solomon).
Unfortunately we lost Lola at a young age due to labor
complications with her second litter. She is sorely
missed.

The second of our home-bred Teddy Satins, Apollo has
had much success in his on again-off again show
career. He tended to be overshadowed by his sister due
to his more plush coat versus her harsh coat, but has
still managed to earn 4 Reserve in Shows. As a junior he
showed much promise and earned his first Reserve in
Show at 3 months old. Although he is now an older boar
and considered past his prime as far as his coat goes,
he has still managed to be competitive on the show
table. He is partially retired from showing and is
currently busy being a valuable asset to our Teddy
Satin program and has sired some very promising
babies.
